Somethings Brewing in the Northeast: Why We’re Taking Event Espresso on the Road

I have always been fascinated by van life – the open road, the freedom of movement, waking up to a new view every day. It’s a romantic vision that I’ve had for myself for many years and one that I finally get to dabble in.

The tour campaign started with a simple text to Casey, the Founder of Event Espresso, it said, “I want to get a van and be more accessible to our hubs as brand manager” and her response was almost immediate, “oh I have a friend for that!”

A lot of Casey and my dreaming goes along these lines, I come up with an idea or dream and Casey has a friend for that. This simple text exchange has become the last two months of my life. As a company we have relied on organic growth for the most part. Grassroots marketing campaigns, word-of-mouth referrals, longstanding relationships with clients.

This has worked extremely well for our business model. However, within the last year, we have created a lot of internal shifts and amplified our brand visually. We have noticed the need to meet our consumer where they are at. Event Espresso is an events-based espresso operation, we are your go-to coffee experts and your mobile café. Our set up is seamless, almost mechanical after 15 years of business. All you need to do is show us where an electrical outlet is and we take care of the rest.

Events in the digital age have gotten bigger, and the focus has shifted from a pop-up style to curated moments or experiences. Often, our company blends completely within our clients, and this is a priority of ours. But in the age of experiential marketing we’ve decided to make “big”... well bigger.

Our intention in going on the road and brewing something throughout the Northeast is to bring the events to you. Which is the reason why a month-long tour felt necessary, both as a way to connect more deeply with our communities and, for me personally, to step into that long-held van life dream.

Philadelphia was always at the center of the conversation. Securing this city became a dream of Casey’s nine years ago when she realized she was pregnant with her son Oliver at Nationwide’s Riskworld conference.  It’s a strategic anchor for our operation since Philadelphia is the gateway to the Northeast. Philly is one of the most historic cities in America, with access to Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington D.C, and New York City all within reach.

In preparation for this campaign we have all challenged ourselves to communicate more internally and to hone our marketing skills. We aren’t just relying on people to find us anymore, our plan is to go to the people. Letting them know we have services that can amplify their already existing events. We aren’t just baristas; we are brand ambassadors, entertainers, and creatives.

We don’t plan to take over anyone’s moment, we still make it about you (which will remain a longstanding ethos of our company). We are simply making it easier to book with us.

Because at the end of the day, this tour isn’t just about coffee. It’s about connection.

It’s about showing up — in your city, on your street, at your event — and creating something memorable together.

It’s about putting wheels to an idea that has lived in conversations, notebooks, and late-night texts for months.

And maybe most importantly, it’s about proving that growth doesn’t always mean getting bigger in one place, sometimes it means getting closer to the people who made you who you are.

So we’re hitting the road.

We’re brewing something new.

And we can’t wait to meet you there.
